- describe your music & vision:The Canvas Waiting is four guys who have a passion to write music that touches peoples hearts and inspires them at the same time. With a faith in God that serves as a foundation to the music, they hope to bring something to the music industry that is fresh and authentic.

- what makes you unique as an artist?: I would like to think that our music contains a certain depth but at the same time is something that you will want to sing along to, both of which are becoming more rare in music today.

- what do you want people to come away with when they see you or listen to your music?: I would like them to see our music as melodic rock with pop sensibility but without having to comprome intelligent songwriting

- what brought you to ITR/choosing us over other options: A recommendation from Wesley Gant who spoke very highly of you. The quality of Wesley's vocals on Life Goes On definitely drew my attention immediately.

- how would you describe your experience w/ITR: I would recommend working with Mike Thompson to any musician. Mike is personable professional and most of all extremely good at what he does. Mike helped The Canvas Waiting to establish a solid foundation with the In Search of Beginnings E.P. The quality of this recording alone has turned heads.

- what has been your favorite thing about working w/ITR: We had a blast with Mike. He made the experience fun and it was amazing to see how the record evolved.

- how have you grown as an artist by working with Mike?: Mike's vocal coaching was extremely helpful and he helps build confidence in you that is exhibited live.

- did ITR exceed your expectations?: Yes. I didn’t really know what to expecting going into this project but the final product was definitely a success.
